Founder Christophe Moyersoen has seen the auction world change over the years as an experienced auctioneer. Since 1980 he has been helping to determine the successful strategy. In 2005, he set up an online auction software platform that guarantees fully automated processing. With AUCTIM, in the next phase of the company, his ambition is to have auction houses working together all over Europe. Working together makes us all stronger, smarter and more effective. By sharing things such as software, buyers, marketing, knowledge,… we create opportunities and added value. The partner formula makes AUCTIM the reference in Europe and the marketplace for auction houses.

With years of experience in the business, Nancy guarantees the smooth running of operations, and ensures that the AUCTIM team gives its best effort. Paul Weyers’ expertise in the ever-changing auction landscape is priceless. He has accumulated over 40 years of experience in industrial auctions, and is tasked with developing and realizing AUCTIM’s business model. Under Paul’s leadership, the auction platform will be rolled out internationally, and partnerships will be built with local auction houses to help them achieve their goals better and faster. Paul’s credo: “You don’t build a reputation with promises, but with the business you do, earning starts with making people earn.”
AUCTIM’s growth
In 1980, founder Christophe Moyersoen goes to work for one of Belgium’s two well-known auction houses, learning the trade. Five years later he started on his own. Soon NV Moyersoen became the Belgian market leader in B2B auctions.
At the beginning of 2019, after almost 40 years of being each other’s colleagues, the paths of Christophe Moyersoen and Paul Weyers crossed. It quickly became clear that the joint expertise was an opportunity for the company’s continued ambition:
An international auction house with offices all over Europe.
In order to realize the rapid international expansion, a partner model is being set up that takes maximum advantage of local expertise. In January 2020, Moyersoen’s website will be renamed AUCTIM.com. The Cloud SaaS auction software will be adapted so that each AUCTIM Partner can handle its files independently, and post all online auctions and sales on the AUCTIM website themselves. This gives both large and small auction houses the opportunity to showcase their products worldwide. Today, the software has become one of the best auction site platforms in the world.
Around 50 employees make AUCTIM’s story a reality, every day. Annual exponential growth is therefore a reality. In 2020, AUCTIM grew to 5 partners in Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Czech Republic, North Macedonia.
